May Day Opening Ceremony

Enjoy the kick off to the 97th annual May Day Festival which includes the installation of the Royal Party and traditional May Pole Dancing performed by our local school children at this entertaining evening kick off to the May Day Festival.
PoCo Heritage Downtown Walk

The first heritage walks of the season with Bryan Ness. This casual walk will be an informative and a fun look at Poco’s past. FREE!
Pre-Parade Fun Pancake Breakfast

A pre-parade tradition in Leigh Square at the Outlet – breakfast for the whole family at a reasonable cost with proceeds going to your local service organizations and scouts.
VPD Motorcycle Drill Squad

This long standing community tradition puts a smile on every face! Enjoy marching bands, floats, and many laughs. Parade route is Shaughnessy to Elgin, Elgin to Mary Hill to Hawthorne ending on Tyner.
