The Port Coquitlam May Day Festival Events

May Days is going virtual!

This year’s online festivities replaced the iconic annual parade, Party in the Square and other events that draw thousands into downtown Port Coquitlam that were cancelled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Visit the Virtual May Days 2020 page for more information and to watch all of the performances.

Please note: as part of the City of Port Coquitlam’s efforts to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, our traditional May Day events have been postponed. Visit www.portcoquitlam.ca for more information.

May Day Opening Ceremony

Our May Day Opening Ceremonies kick off the annual May Day Festival with a variety of entertainment and many local school children participating in the Royal Party and May Pole Dancing.

Rotary Parade & Party in the Square

Join us for an action-packed day starting with the Rotary May Day Parade, one of the main highlights of the PoCo May Day Festival attracting over 10,000 people each year. Following the Parade, participants can make their way to the Party in the Square at Leigh Square Community Arts Village. With free live entertainment, children’s activities, Biz Alley, an artisan marketplace, food trucks, refreshments and concessions, there will be fun to be found for the whole family.

Stay tuned for information about our 2021 May Day events.
